Music – My Hobby
By Kappa, 15
My name is Igor, I’m 15 years old, and music is my hobby. It’s something I’ve been spending a lot of time on, and it has become an important part of my everyday life.
Drums – My Main Instrument
The drums are my main instrument. I’ve been practicing a lot and I’m getting close to a semi-professional level. I still have a lot to learn, but I enjoy improving step by step.
I like how the drums control the rhythm and energy of a song. Keeping a steady groove and playing with feeling is something I’m always working on. Playing drums has helped me build discipline and better coordination, and it teaches me patience.
Other Instruments
Besides drums, I also play piano, bass, and flute. I’m not as focused on them as I am on drums, but they help me understand music better.
- Piano helps me with chords and songwriting.
- Bass shows me how rhythm and groove connect.
- Flute lets me work more on melody.
Trying different instruments makes music more interesting for me and helps me see it from different angles.
Making Beats and Writing Songs
I also make beats and work on songs with my friends. We usually create R&B and jazz-inspired music. I like these styles because they leave space for creativity and emotion.
Working with other people is important to me. We share ideas, experiment, and try to improve together. Not every idea works, but that’s part of the process.
Why Music Matters to Me
Music is something I genuinely enjoy. It helps me relax, focus, and express what I sometimes can’t say in words. I’m still learning and developing my skills, but I’m happy with the progress I’m making.
For now, music is my hobby — and I’m excited to see where it takes me in the future.
